Antonia Lofaso's food can be a way to investigate the possibilities within her. The food she creates is a result of her interest in the culture that is Los Angeles, which was inspired by a visit to Los Angeles from Long Island's suburbs. The food at Lofaso is always authentic, inviting and undeniably pleasing. Lofaso worked under culinary greats to master their methods. But she didn't hesitate to make extraordinary decisions in order to follow her intuition. Within a few years, Lofaso rose to the very top of Wolfgang Puck's Spago. In the following years, she worked alongside many celebrities, as she transformed various Los Angeles restaurants. Lofaso along with Sal Aurora partnered in 2011 to open Black Market Liquor Bar Studio City. The Lofaso is now settling within Black Market, and through the partnerships that she created. Lofaso was able to enjoy the freedom to create the work she wanted through the collaboration. Black Market has no one plan in sight and is the same way. It could start with dill chips, then shishitos peppers. Then comes a Korean wings and then a meatball course. What binds this diverse variety of tastes is Antonia.
