Andrea Joy Cook, also known as A.J. Cook is a well-known Canadian actress. Her most well-known role is her part in the CBS police drama Criminal Minds where she portrays the Supervisory Special Agent, also known by the name of Jennifer Jareau. In 2005 the series has been on air and is currently on its 13th season. Cook grew up in Oshawa Ontario, Canada. The first part of her life was devoted to acting. A guest role on the TV series Goosebumps launched her acting career. Her debut in film came by starring in the 1999 drama The Virgin Suicides. The movie was not a major hit. The next year, in where she took on a lead character, she joined the American Canadian Drama Series Higher Ground. Following a couple of years, she began appearing in the police crime drama Criminal Minds. This earned great success and a large following.
