Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue An. Ellis Taylor is an American producer and actress. She received an undergraduate degree in African-American Studies at Brown University and also a Master of acting at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue Lisa Ellis is an actor, producer as well as an American actor active in the theatre as well as television and film. Her career began as an actress in theatre before going on to appear in many television series, mainstream and independent films. She became famous as Miranda Shaw, a character on ABC's Quantico. In BET's epic show The Book of Negroes she appeared. She did not only be praised by critics for her performance, but she also received a few awards and nominations. In 1995, she made her acting debut with The Tempest as Ariel. On Broadway she was a part of the cast in Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Seeking the Genesis and Joe Turner's Come and Gone. When it comes to film, she is most well-known for her role in movies such as Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express and The Help. In television, her role on ABC's drama about police High Incident is well known.
